Die beiden Kritikerlieblinge Neal Stephenson und China Miéville haben sich neben anderen bei den diesjährigen Locus-Awards durchgesetzt, die am 2. Juli 2005 auf dem Westercon in Calgary verliehen wurden.

Interessant ist, dass bei SF-Roman zwei Romane einer Trilogie zusammengefasst wurden. Bei den Preisen für Herausgeber, Anthologie und Verlag kann man inzwischen von einem Dauer-Abo sprechen.
