Phantastik-News - WORLD FANTASY AWARD 2004: DIE NOMINIERUNGEN!

Shooting-Star Jeff VanderMeer und der bereits mehrfach preisgekrönte Ian R. MacLeod haben es u.a auf die Nominierungsliste des diesjährigen World Fantasy Awards geschafft, der seit 1975 verliehen wird.

Nach einer Nominierungsrunde entscheidet jetzt eine Jury, in welcher dieses Jahr u.a. der hoch angesehene Herausgeber John Clute und Bestseller-Autor Michael A. Stackpole ('Star Wars', 'DragonCrown War'-Zyklus) sitzen, wer den Preis, der Ende Oktober auf der World Fantasy Convention in Tempe, Arizona vergeben wird, gewinnt.
Pro Kategorie werden zwei der Nominierungen durch eine Umfrage ermittelt, drei weitere Kandidaten setzt die Jury hinzu.
